Hasegawa 1/72 Lastexile -Fam, The Silver Wing- Vanship W/High Compression Steam Bomb
Vanship is a term for a light, transport aircraft from the universe of the Japanese animated series ""Last Exille"", which premiered in 2003. It is worth adding that the Vanship is an aircraft operating more like a hovercraft hovering low above the ground than a free-flying vehicle. In the series, his fuel is a substance known as ""Claudia"". The main task of Vanship vehicles is to deliver light goods and shipments over long distances. Units of this type have a two-person cabin with places for a pilot and a navigator. Interestingly, Vanship vehicles do not have a cab fairing. Many of the Vanships featured in the series also have many similarities in terms of appearance and styling to cars from the 1920s and 1930s.
Hasegawa produces the most readily available plastic kits in the market today. Most of Hasegawa's kits date back to the early 1970s, and it shows. With a few exceptions, their kits are fairly simple, and the detail tends to be heavy, soft and sparse. Hasegawa does, however, produce several unique kits, and with a little scratch-building, super detailing, and maybe the help of some aftermarket photoetched sets, build into good models.
