The percentage of Flat Base used can be adjusted to vary the amount of gloss level obtained.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eIt is not necessary to dilute Aqueous Hobby Colour for brush painting as a basic rule, but if using an airbrush to spray Aqueous Hobby Colour, dilute the paint with10 to 15% Mr. Aqueous Hobby Colour Thinner (T-110 or T-111).\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eWater can be used to thin the Aqueous Hobby Colour for this purpose also, but is not recommended. The use of water may result in the introduction of foreign matter contained in the water supply, and can result in longer drying times, and a lack of richness of colour in gloss coats.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eWhen brush painting, generally 1 to 2 coats are recommended, and 2 to 3 coats when using an air brush.
