The legendary IATA code “OK” thus became history. Smartwings previously operated a fleet consisting solely of Boeing 737-800s and 737 Max 8s. The Airbus A220, originally developed as the CSeries by Canadian manufacturer Bombardier, is known for its fuel efficiency, comfort and flexibility on short and medium-haul flights.
